Avenue of the Asian Americas screens Sunday, May 21 in LA
Visual Communications will screen "Avenue of the Asian Americas," 10 short digital films which take the viewer on a quirky trip down the side streets of the Asian experience in New York City, in Program 17 of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film & Video Festival.

The shorts in "Avenue of the Asian Americas" are as varied as the city itself, representing a broad range of genres, themes, and characters. Stories include a ghost story set on the Staten Island Ferry, a comedy about a newspaper thief, and the story of a man obsessed with his roommate's orgasm.
The projects were workshopped in the Summer and shot in the Fall and Winter of 1999.
